Please note that you agree to waive the product warrenty 1 when applying for this feature. The warranty will terminate immediately once the Supplementary Security Domain Key (hereinafter referred to as the “SSD Key”) is provided to you.

The SSD Key allows you to load Java applets onto an ESTKme card, such as FIDO2 and OpenPGP applets.

Steps to apply

Please send an email to [email protected].

The email subject MUST follow this format:

Application for Applet Sideloading: “<Card EID>” 2

The email must include the following information:

  • An explicit statement confirming that you voluntarily waive the warranty in order to apply for this feature.
  • A screenshot of the order details from our website. The order number MUST BE visible in the screenshot.
  • A screenshot of the “About” page for the ESTKme card in the STK menu.
  • All screenshots MUST BE provided as email attachments and MUST NOT be cropped, edited, or otherwise modified in any way.

We normally respond within 5 to 10 business days after receiving your email.

Once your application is approved, we will send you a command in the following format:

You will need to use GlobalPlatformPro to manage the card. At this point, you may use the ESTKme card as a Java Card 3.
